Meal Times:

Holbeck Ghyll's Michelin Star Restaurant is open to non-residents.

Children:

We allow children of all ages and can provide cots, high chairs and baby listening. A baby sitter can usually be arranged, given ample notice.

Children under 8 are served a high tea at 5.30pm, either in the restaurant or parent's room. Children over the age of 8 are welcome to dine in the restaurant at night. Discounted rates are given where a child shares a room with 2 adults ~ please enquire.

Dogs:

Dogs are allowed in bedrooms and hotel grounds. A charge of £8.00 per night is levied. The proprietors' Labradors love to be taken for a walk!

Laundry:

There is a full laundry and dry cleaning service Monday to Saturday.

Dress:

Smart casual. We prefer and recommend jacket and tie for men.

The main line train station for the Lake District is Oxenholme. From Oxenholme there is a connection service to Windermere Station (20 minutes). Taxis can be taken from Oxenholme (£23.00 approx) or Windermere (£5.50 approx). Private car transfers can be arranged ~ contact for specific quote
